At Paul's Handkerchief, we believe the Word should be accessible to everyone. We've reviewed the platform against the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines and worked to align our design and code with those principles.
Key Improvements
Contrast-Safe Theming: We've introduced 'High-Contrast' (Black/Yellow) and 'The Blood' (Crimson/Black) themes specifically designed for readability and visual comfort.
Consistent Button System: Our tokenized design ensures all interactive elements are clearly visible and distinguishably primary or secondary across all backgrounds.
Enhanced Navigation: We've implemented 'Skip to Content' links and standardized heading hierarchies (H1–H6) to ensure logical flow for screen reader users.
ARIA Support: Icons and interactive components include descriptive ARIA labels for assistive technologies.
Feedback & Support
Accessibility is an ongoing journey, and we haven't conducted a formal third-party WCAG audit — this is the result of our own conscientious review. If you encounter any barriers or have recommendations, please let us know through our Contact Page. We welcome bug reports and feedback from our community.
