Paul's Handkerchief is Bible study with a difference — going word-by-word through Scripture to reclaim the Ancient Near East context, romance, and mystery that modern translations often leave behind.
Only about 3% of people around the world who start the Bible ever finish it. The 3% Club is for those ready to break that cycle — reading the entire Bible at their own pace, backed by community and tools built to make finishing not just possible, but inevitable. You also get a certificate to celebrate your achievement.
Bible Cafe isn't just Bible study — it's a personal, intimate conversation with Him. Think less classroom, more kitchen table. It combines the original Coffee with Jesus experience with activities like quizzes, crosswords, journaling and more, all designed to let the Word shape your heart, not just your head.
Most English Bibles can't carry the full weight of what's in the original Hebrew and Greek. The F.O.G Bible Project exists to change that — three new translations built publicly (a Study Bible, a Reader's Bible, and F.O.G Jr. for younger readers), plus a word-by-word renewal of Strong's Concordance restoring the depths most translations leave behind. It is Jean Paul's lifelong work, unfolding in public — and you're invited in.
Jean Paul Joseph is the lead editor of the F.O.G Bible Project. He works from a personal encounter with Jesus first, then draws on the scholarship of respected Jewish and Christian scholars — because the church was Jewish before it was anything else, and those roots change everything about how you read Scripture.

The Third Day: When the Pattern of Redemption Breaks Forth
There is a rhythm hidden in the fabric of creation, a pulse that beats beneath the surface of time itself. The word tᵉlîythay appears only twice in the sacred scroll, a rare jewel that marks the threshold where waiting becomes fulfillment. In the Aramaic tongue of the exile, this word carries the weight of an ordinal — not merely a number in sequence, but a declaration that something has been completed, that a new order has begun. The ancient sages teach that the number three holds a mystery: it is the number of resurrection, of the third day when hope rises from the grave of despair. You have felt this rhythm in your own life, have you not? The first day of tragedy, the second day of endurance, and then — the third day when the Lord reveals what He has been weaving all along.
The Paleo-Hebrew Picture: A Door That Opens on the Third
When you trace this word back to its root, you find tᵉlâth, the Aramaic form of three, and behind it the paleo-Hebrew letters that paint a living image. The letter tav, a cross-mark or covenant sign; lamed, an ox-goad that urges forward; aleph, the strength of the leader. Together they whisper of a covenant that drives you toward the appointed time. This is no cold mathematics — the rabbis of old observed that the third day is stamped upon the very story of Israel. Abraham lifted his eyes on the third day and saw the mountain where Isaac would be bound and spared. Joseph released his brothers from prison on the third day. Esther approached the king on the third day. The pattern is too consistent to be coincidence. The Holy One, blessed be He, has woven the number three into the loom of redemption itself.
From the Scroll of Daniel: The Weight of the Third Appearance
The two occurrences of tᵉlîythay appear in the book of Daniel, where the prophet receives visions that span the ages. In Daniel 5:7, the king promises that whoever interprets the writing on the wall shall be made the third ruler in the kingdom. And again in Daniel 5:16, the same promise is extended. Jewish tradition holds that this third position represented a rank of authority that had been vacated — a place prepared for one who could read the handwriting of God. The number three here speaks not of failure but of elevation, of being lifted to a station you did not earn but were appointed to fill. The apostolic faith teaches that this is the pattern of Messiah: He descended to the lowest depths, and on the third day He ascended to the highest place. The third is always the day of reversal, when the stone is rolled away and the new creation dawns.
The Tabernacle and the Temple: The Holy of Holies Behind the Third Veil
Consider the dwelling place of the Most High. The Tabernacle had three distinct spaces: the outer court, the holy place, and the holy of holies. The rabbis of old observed that the number three marked the journey into the presence of God. You could not rush from the altar to the ark — you passed through three thresholds, each one stripping away what was merely earthly. The third veil, the one that concealed the mercy seat, was torn on the third day of Messiah's triumph. The early church understood that the third day was not simply a date on the calendar but a doorway into the innermost reality of God. When you walk in the pattern of the third, you are walking into the place where atonement is made and where the living God speaks from between the cherubim.

Why the Third, and Not the Second or Fourth?
Scripture could have used other ordinals — it could have spoken of the second day or the fifth hour. But the Spirit breathed through the writers to fix upon the third. Why? The ancient sages teach that the number two represents division, for on the second day of creation the waters were separated. The number four represents the four corners of the earth, the breadth of the world. But three — three is the number of completion, of that which is fully formed and ready to bear fruit. On the third day, the dry land appeared. On the third day, the earth brought forth vegetation. The third day is when what was hidden beneath the waters rises into the light. The gematria of tᵉlîythay is 850, and the sages have noted that this number carries the same value as the phrase "the spirit of life" — for the third day is always the day when breath returns to what was dead.
The Messianic Embodiment: Yeshua as the Third Day Himself
You cannot separate this word from the One who declared that He would rise on the third day. In the Tanakh, the prophet Hosea spoke the mystery: "After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live in His sight" (Hosea 6:2). Yeshua did not merely teach about the third day — He became it. Every moment of His ministry was moving toward that appointed time when the third day would break forth from the tomb. The rabbis of old argued about when the dead would be raised, but the apostolic witness declares that the resurrection has already begun in the Person of Messiah. He is the firstfruits, the third day harvest that guarantees the full ingathering. When you encounter Yeshua, you encounter the One who has already passed through the third veil and opened the way for you to follow.
The Gematria of Hope: 850 and the Breath of Life
The numerical value of tᵉlîythay is 850, and the ancient Hebrew writings reflect that this number shares its sum with the phrase "ruach chayim" — the spirit of life. This is no accident. The third day is not merely a point in time; it is a quality of existence. When the Spirit of the living God breathes into the dry bones, they stand on their feet — an exceedingly great army. The number 850 whispers that the third day is animated by the very breath of the Creator. You were not made to live in the first day of death or the second day of waiting alone. You were made for the third day, when the Spirit fills your lungs and you rise to walk in newness of life. The gematria of this word is a promise written in the language of heaven itself.
Walking in the Third Day Reality
Beloved, you have been living between the first day and the third, have you not? You have known the grief of burial and the silence of the tomb. But the word tᵉlîythay is spoken over your life today. The pattern is set: the third day is coming. It may be that you are in the second day now, the day of endurance when hope feels thin and the darkness presses close. But the same Spirit that raised Yeshua from the dead is even now preparing your third day. Do not despise the waiting — it is the womb of resurrection. The third ruler in the kingdom awaits you. The third veil has been torn. The third day is not merely a doctrine; it is your inheritance. Rise and walk into it, for the breath of life is already stirring in your bones.
