You have known your own bottoms — the places where hope seemed to end, where the lions of accusation roared, where the bones of your strength were broken before you even reached the bottom. But hear this word from the Most High: the bottom is not your destination; it is the place where the angel of the Lord is already standing. The same God who shut the mouths of lions for Daniel is shutting the mouths of every accusation against you. The same earth that received the blood of the martyrs is the earth that will yield the harvest of resurrection. You are not falling into an abyss; you are falling into the hands of the Living God. Let this rare and precious word be a seal upon your heart: the bottom has become your foundation, and upon that foundation, the Holy One is building a house of praise that will never be shaken.
