הָרִשְׁעָה (ha-rish'ah) is grammatically feminine, enabling the personification as a woman. The word spans the full range of moral-legal wrongdoing: wickedness, guilt, lawlessness. The feminine personification almost certainly evokes the goddess-cults of Babylon — where female divine figures like Ishtar were enthroned and worshipped with commerce-linked offerings. The vision stages a deliberate counter-image: this enthroned "goddess" is violently stuffed back into a grain basket and deported. F.O.G preserves the Hebrew name to let the personification land with full force; F.O.G Message renders "Wickedness" to carry the theological cargo in English.
