Three textual notes: (1) Hădasîm (הֲדַסִּים, myrtle trees) carries rich resonance — associated with Sukkot restoration and bridal beauty; "Hadassah" (Esther's Hebrew name) means myrtle. (2) Metsûlâh (מְּצֻלָה) means a deep, shadowy place — a ravine or hollow — conveying hiddenness. (3) Serûqqîm (שְׂרֻקִּים) is debated: "sorrel/bay" (reddish-brown) is most likely; the LXX reads "variegated."
