Klinē (κλίνη) is the Greek word for "bed"—the same word that would describe the bed of her seduction. The judgment is sardonically exact: the very bed of her immorality becomes the bed of her affliction. This is a classic Hebraic ironic inversion, where the instrument of sin is made the instrument of judgment.
