The beast you saw was, and is not, and is about to rise from the Abyss to meet his destruction. The inhabitants of the earth — all whose names have not been written in the Book of Life since the foundation of the world — will be amazed when they see the beast, because it was and is not and yet is coming.
The beast you saw — it was, and is not, and is about to come up from the Abyss, and it goes to destruction. The earth-dwellers whose names have not been written in the scroll of life from the foundation of the world will be astounded when they behold the beast — that it was, and is not, and yet will come.
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
