βιβλαρίδιον is a double diminutive of βιβλίον, deliberately contrasting with the great sealed scroll of Rev 5–8. Both versions render "little scroll" to preserve this distinction. The straddling posture — one foot on sea, one on land — echoes the divine warrior imagery of Ps 77:19 and Hab 3:15, asserting sovereign dominion over all creation's realms. The scroll being ἠνεῳγμένον (already opened, perfect passive) signals that sealed revelation is now being disclosed.
