Moshe was not technically a *kohen* (priest) — the priestly line ran through Aharon — yet here he is numbered 'among His priests,' honouring his supreme intercessory role (cf. Ex. 32:11–14; Num. 14:13–19). *Shmu'el* likewise bridges judge, prophet, and intercessor — one who declared he would never cease praying for Israel (1 Sam. 7:5; 12:23). The triad Moshe–Aharon–Shmu'el represents the greatest covenant mediators in Israel's history, each of whom stood in the breach and was heard. The gallery of answered prayer makes the psalm's enthronement claim intimate: the cosmic King is also the God who listens to those who call.
