Footnotes
*Larwayah* (לָרְוָיָה) derives from the root *ravah* (רוה) — to be saturated, to drink one's fill, to be abundantly watered. It describes not merely survival or relief but overflow: the well-watered garden, the soul that has had more than enough. The contrast with 'fire and water' — instruments of devastation and chaos — could hardly be sharper; from desiccating heat and drowning flood, God brings His people to *saturation*. This is the Promised Land as antidote to the wilderness, and ultimately the restoration of Eden's rivers. FOG renders 'a place of abundance,' grounding the material fullness; FOG Message uses 'a wide and watered place,' drawing out the Edenic and Promised Land imagery more explicitly.
