*Paqadta* (Χ€ΦΈΦΌΧ§Φ·ΧΦ°ΧͺΦΈΦΌ, 'You visit') is a covenant-loaded verb: YHWH's *paqad* is His decisive, purposeful attention to a person or situation β always consequential (cf. Genesis 21:1, where YHWH 'visits' Sarah; Exodus 3:16, where He 'visits' Israel in Egypt). Here the earth itself is visited as a covenant recipient. *Peleg Elohim* ('channel/stream of God') likely refers to the heavenly reservoir above the dome β the divine water-system that feeds all earthly rain, imagined as a great supra-celestial river. FOG uses 'channel' and 'Elohim' for cosmological precision; FOG Message uses 'river of God' to retain the lyrical resonance familiar from Psalm 46:4 ('There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God').
