The sudden shift from second person address ("You destroy") to third person ("YHWH abhors"—*yit'ab*, 3ms) within a single verse is deliberate and rare. David steps momentarily outside his prayer to make a public declaration about YHWH's character, as if turning to an audience. *Te'ab* (תָּעֵב) is the verb of cultic revulsion—the same root as *to'evah* (abomination), reserved for things that defile worship and community. The *ish-damim* (man of bloods) is one whose hands and life are stained with violent crime. FOG preserves the dramatic pronoun shift intact; FOG Message renders it as a solemn outward declaration rather than intimate address.
