The three weapons — bow, spear, and *agalot* (wagons or war-chariots) — represent the full offensive arsenal of ancient Near Eastern warfare. Their destruction is not metaphorical but visceral: shattered, severed, burned. The burning of chariots deliberately echoes the obliteration of Pharaoh's chariot force at the sea (Ex. 14–15) and anticipates the eschatological disarmament of Gog's armies in Ezekiel 39:9–10, where Israel burns captured weapons for seven years. YHWH does not merely win wars — He abolishes the instruments of war itself.
