The triple appeal — *shim'i* (hear), *ur'i* (look/consider), *hati oznekh* (incline your ear) — engages three senses to demand total attention, echoing the language of covenant summons (cf. Deut. 6:4). 'Forget your people and your father's house' resonates powerfully with the call of Avraham (Gen. 12:1) — *lekh lekha* — to leave land, kindred, and father's house. The bride is being summoned into a new covenant identity, just as Avraham was. FOG preserves the urgency of the three-fold imperative; FOG Message renders it more conversationally to capture the tender, intimate address.
