*Metom* (wholeness/soundness/integrity of body) and *shalom* (peace/well-being/wholeness) are both holistic health words — the psalmist has lost all bodily integrity at every level. *Za'am* (divine indignation/displeasure) is a stronger, more sustained word than general anger, often used of YHWH's covenantal wrath. The parallel structure links YHWH's action (*za'am*) with the psalmist's responsibility (*chattati*, "my sin"), refusing to separate divine discipline from personal accountability. FOG keeps *shalom* untranslated to preserve its full semantic range; FOG Message renders it "peace" to capture its relational and restorative dimension.
