*Mishkavo* (his bed/couch) — even the night's rest becomes a workshop of wickedness. Elsewhere in the Psalms, night is the sacred time of meditation on Torah (Ps. 1:2; 63:6); here it is hijacked for scheming. *Yityatsev* (he stations/plants himself) is a military posture of resolute self-positioning — no accidental drift but determined commitment. The wicked man does not stumble onto the wrong path; he stands at attention on it. FOG preserves the deliberateness with "plants himself." FOG Message adds "in the dark" to honour the night setting and "refuses to turn" for the note of hard-hearted resistance.
