The closing three words in Hebrew — kî ʿāśāh ('for / that He has done it') — are among the most theologically charged in the entire Psalter. The psalm ends not with explanation, not with theology, but with a cry of completed divine action: it is finished. The verbal and conceptual echo of Yeshua's final word from the cross (John 19:30, tetelestai — 'it is finished / accomplished') is one of the most striking intertextual convergences in the New Covenant writings. Psalm 22 opens with the cry of dereliction — 'My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?' — and closes with this declaration of divine completion. The entire arc of the crucifixion — abandonment, suffering, death, vindication, and universal proclamation — is compressed into a single psalm written a thousand years before the cross. Both translations render the brevity of kî ʿāśāh: FOG — 'He has done it'; FOG Message — 'He has accomplished it.'
