me'oded is an unusual Piel participle from a root meaning to encourage, support, or prop up—almost the image of steadying someone who is stumbling. anavim are the humble, lowly, or afflicted—those bowed low by circumstances beyond their control. The great reversal motif here (lifting the lowly, casting down the wicked) echoes Ps. 113, Hannah's song (1 Sam. 2:4–8), and Mary's Magnificat (Luke 1:52–53), all drawing from this well. FOG's 'crashing down' adds kinetic force to the reversal; FOG Message's 'dust' carries a mortality echo absent from the Hebrew but theologically resonant.
