*Ḥăsādekā* (חֲסָדֶיךָ) — 'Your *ḥesed*' — is one of the richest theological terms in the Hebrew Bible. It describes the loyal, steadfast love that operates within a covenant bond — not mere affection but committed, obligation-bound faithfulness, with both legal weight and emotional warmth. FOG renders it 'covenant-love' to hold both dimensions simultaneously; FOG Message uses 'faithful love,' prioritising relational warmth while the covenantal structure is understood from context. Neither translation fully captures *ḥesed*, which is why scholars frequently retain the Hebrew untranslated.
