Footnotes
The threefold call — to Yisra'el, the house of Aaron, and the fearers of YHWH — reflects the liturgical structure of Temple pilgrimage worship. The 'fearers of YHWH' likely includes God-fearing Gentiles attached to the covenant community, widening the circle of praise beyond ethnic Israel (cf. Ps. 115:9–13). This anticipates the ingathering of the nations in the prophets and their full inclusion through Jesus, making this psalm's reach deliberately universal from its opening verses.
