*Eshet kesilut* (אֵשֶׁת כְּסִילוּת, 'woman of folly') introduces Wisdom's rival in the chapter's second movement. *Kesil* (כְּסִיל) denotes not mere naïvety but a morally dull, thick-headed fool — one who is culpably obtuse in the face of moral reality. *Homiyyah* (הֹמִיָּה, 'noisy/clamorous') deliberately echoes the description of the adulteress in Prov. 7:11, linking the two figures and showing that Folly is not new — she has appeared before under other guises. The contrast with Wisdom is total: Wisdom builds, prepares, sends, and speaks with authority; Folly merely shouts from a doorstep, empty-handed and empty-headed. FOG renders the phrase with literal precision; FOG Message capitalises 'Woman of Folly' to establish her as the named rival to personified Wisdom.
