Most English Bibles can't carry the full weight of what's in the original Hebrew and Greek. The F.O.G Bible Project exists to change that — three new translations built publicly (a Study Bible, a Reader's Bible, and F.O.G Jr. for younger readers), plus a word-by-word renewal of Strong's Concordance restoring the depths most translations leave behind. It is Jean Paul's lifelong work, unfolding in public — and you're invited in.

He works from a personal encounter with Jesus first, then draws on the scholarship of respected Jewish and Christian scholars — because the church was Jewish before it was anything else, and those roots change everything about how you read Scripture.

Footnotes

The Hebrew employs a triple wordplay on mits (pressing/churning/wringing) with the repeated verb yatsa (brings forth). The sequence escalates from the mundane (dairy production) to the painful (a bloody nose) to the relational (strife/contention). Crucially, af means both 'nose' and 'anger/wrath' in Hebrew — making the middle image a pun: press someone's af (nose/wrath) and blood/harm comes out. The image is almost comic in its barnyard earthiness, yet the wisdom is incisive: wrath, like milk and a nose, responds predictably to pressure. FOG preserves 'pressing' consistently to highlight the wordplay; FOG Message uses varied verbs ('churning,' 'squeezing,' 'stirring up') for vivid distinctness and emotional impact.
