ἐξανάστασις is a rare compound — ἐκ + ἀνάστασις ("standing-up-out") — distinct from the common ἀνάστασις used elsewhere. The prefix ἐκ ("out from") suggests a resurrection that draws the believer out from among those still remaining in death — an individualised, selective rising with eschatological urgency. F.O.G renders "out-resurrection" to make the compound prefix audible; F.O.G Message expresses the same movement without coining a compound.
