The Hebrew *miqshah* ("hammered" or "beaten work") is repeated for deliberate emphasis: the Menorah was not cast in a mould but painstakingly wrought by hammer from a single piece of gold. This stress on wholeness — nothing welded, nothing assembled, one unbroken form — carries theological weight. FOG renders it "beaten gold work" to honour the craft reality; FOG Message uses "hammered gold... all of one piece," drawing out the typological resonance of seamless unity that foreshadows the One through Whom all light comes undivided (cf. John 1:9).
