*Qorban* (offering) literally means 'something brought near'—the act of drawing close to God through a gift, sharing its root with *qarav*, 'to approach.' Every act of sacrifice in Israel is at its heart a movement toward God. *Agalot tsav* are most likely canopied or covered wagons (the term *tsav* is rare; LXX renders it 'wagons with coverings'), suited to transporting the heavy Tabernacle components. Both translations render these as 'covered wagons.'
