The sons of Reuben and the sons of Gad owned enormous herds—livestock beyond counting—and when they looked out over the land of Jazer and the land of Gilead, they recognized it immediately: this was grazing country, made for their flocks.
Now the sons of Re'uven and the sons of Gad had livestock—vast herds, exceedingly many—and they saw the land of Ya'zer and the land of Gil'ad, and behold, the place was a place for livestock.
Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of cattle: and when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead, that, behold, the place was a place for cattle;
Now the Reubenites and Gadites, who had very large herds and flocks, surveyed the lands of Jazer and Gilead, and they saw that the region was suitable for livestock.
