On that day someone will take up a taunt-song against you, and a bitter funeral-dirge will be sung: "We are completely devastated! God has parceled out His people's inheritance — how He has taken it from me! He hands our fields over to a traitor."
On that day a taunt will be raised over you, and a wailing lament will be wailed: "We are utterly ruined! He trades away the portion of my people — how He strips it from me! He apportions our fields to a traitor."
In that day shall one take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, and say, We be utterly spoiled: he hath changed the portion of my people: how hath he removed it from me! turning away he hath divided our fields.
In that day they will take up a proverb against you and taunt you with this bitter lamentation: ‘We are utterly ruined! He has changed the portion of my people. How He has removed it from me! He has allotted our fields to traitors.’”
