A conflation of Isaiah 62:11 ("Say to the Daughter of Zion") and Zechariah 9:9. πραΰς (praus) spans lowly social station, meekness of spirit, and gentleness of manner — the same word Yeshua uses of Himself in Matthew 11:29. FOG renders "lowly" to foreground the social scandal of a king arriving not on a warhorse but a beast of burden; FOG Message uses "gentle" to draw out the character quality, capturing the inversion of royal power this entry enacts.
