Footnotes
The twelve-year haemorrhage of this unnamed woman and the twelve-year-old daughter of Yair form a deliberate structural bracket: both are called "daughter," both are at the end of their resources, and both receive salvation through contact with Yeshua. Mark buries one story inside the other with surgical intent.
