It was two days before the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. The chief priests and the scribes were plotting how they might arrest Him by stealth and put Him to death.
It was two days before Pesach and the Feast of Matzot, and the chief kohanim and the Torah-teachers were seeking how they might seize Him by treachery and kill Him.
After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.
Now the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread were two days away, and the chief priests and scribes were looking for a covert way to arrest Jesus and kill Him.
