Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.
"Oh, that one among you would shut the doors of the Temple, so as not to kindle fire on My altar in vain! I have no delight in you," says YHWH-Tzva'ot, "and I will not accept an offering from your hand."
"I wish someone among you would shut the temple doors and stop lighting these pointless fires on My altar! I take no pleasure in you," says Yahweh Almighty, "and I will not accept any offering you bring."
