The final word πίστιν carries two overlapping senses: subjective trust or belief (faith), and objective covenant loyalty (faithfulness). The FOG renders "faithfulness"—echoing the Hebrew ʾemunah, which always connotes steadfast covenantal reliability—asking whether the community will have maintained fidelity. The FOG Message uses "faith," keeping the more familiar eschatological question about whether active belief will persist until the Son of Man's return.
