Would he not instead say, 'Prepare my supper, get yourself ready, and wait on me while I eat and drink — and after that you may eat and drink'?
Will he not rather say to him, 'Prepare my supper, gird yourself and serve me while I eat and drink — and afterward you yourself shall eat and drink'?
And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
Instead, won’t he tell him, ‘Prepare my meal and dress yourself to serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward you may eat and drink’?
