But the synagogue ruler was filled with indignation that Jesus had healed on the Sabbath. He said to the people, "There are six days in which work ought to be done. Come and be healed on those days, not on the Sabbath."
But the ruler of the synagogue, seething with indignation because Yeshua had healed on the Shabbat, said to the crowd, "There are six days on which work must be done — come on those days and be healed, not on the Shabbat day."
And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
But the synagogue leader was indignant that Jesus had healed on the Sabbath. “There are six days for work,” he told the crowd. “So come and be healed on those days and not on the Sabbath.”
