F.O.G.M.
F.O.G MessageHe must not enter where any dead body lies — not for his father and not for his mother may he defile himself.
BSB
Berean Standard BibleHe must not go near any dead body; he must not defile himself, even for his father or mother.
Footnotes
The High Priest's restriction surpasses that of ordinary priests (vv. 2–3, who may defile themselves for a parent). The repetition of negation in F.O.G Message — "not for his father and not for his mother" — follows the rhetorical rhythm of the Hebrew's double restriction.
