The Benjaminites came out to engage the Israelites and were lured away from the city. They began cutting men down as before along the two roads—one leading up to Bethel, the other toward Gibeah across the open fields—about thirty men in all.
The children of Binyamin came out against the people and were drawn away from the city. They began to strike the people down and kill, as before, along the roads—one going up to Beit-El, the other out to Givah in the open field—about thirty men of Yisra'el.
And the children of Benjamin went out against the people, and were drawn away from the city; and they began to smite of the people, and kill, as at other times, in the highways, of which one goeth up to the house of God, and the other to Gibeah in the field, about thirty men of Israel.
