מִשְׁתֶּה (mishteh) literally means a 'drinking feast,' from the root שָׁתָה (shatah), 'to drink.' The irony is pointed: Shimshon, a lifelong Nazirite forbidden from wine and its products (Judg. 13:4–5), is hosting a week-long drinking banquet. The narrator offers no editorial comment, but any reader who remembers the angel's charge to his mother feels the weight. The phrase 'as young men were accustomed to do' may normalise the scene or quietly mark its incongruity — Shimshon is doing what young men do, not what a Nazirite should do. FOG preserves 'feast'; FOG Message uses 'held a feast' for narrative drive.
