Judah and Simeon marched together against the Canaanites at Zephath, put the city under the sacred ban of total destruction, and named it Hormah — the Place of the Devoted-Curse.
Yehudah went with Shim'on his brother and struck the Kena'ani who lived in Tzefat, devoting it to destruction. So the name of the city was called Hormah.
And Judah went with Simeon his brother, and they slew the Canaanites that inhabited Zephath, and utterly destroyed it. And the name of the city was called Hormah.
