The boundary then turned and ran southward along the western side from the hill that faces Beth-horon, ending at Kiriath-baal — that is, Kiriath-jearim — a city belonging to Judah. This was the western side.
The boundary then bent and swept southward along the western side from the hill facing Beit-Ḥoron, ending at Kiryat-Baal — that is, Kiryat-Ye'arim — a city of Yehuda. This was the western boundary.
And the border was drawn thence, and compassed the corner of the sea southward, from the hill that lieth before Bethhoron southward; and the goings out thereof were at Kirjathbaal, which is Kirjathjearim, a city of the children of Judah: this was the west quarter.
