As they fled down the slope of Beth-horon before Israel, Yahweh hurled massive hailstones from heaven upon them all the way to Azekah, and they perished. More died from the hailstones than from the swords of the Israelites.
And as they fled before Yisra'el along the descent of Beit-Horon, YHWH hurled great stones from the skies upon them as far as Azekah—and they died. More died from the hailstones than the sons of Yisra'el killed with the sword.
And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the LORD cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.
