הֵיטֵב חָרָה-לִי עַד-מָוֶת — "It burns to me rightly unto death." This is the only moment in the chapter where Yonah directly answers YHWH's question — and his answer is unrepentant defiance. He not only insists his anger is righteous but escalates it to death-intensity. The repetition of the question from v.4 creates a deliberate structural bracket, and Yonah's reply makes his position unmistakable. F.O.G preserves the measured, declarative register of the Hebrew; F.O.G Message conveys the emotional heat of the outburst to make Yonah's intractability viscerally clear.
