This is why the Jewish leaders were all the more determined to kill Him — not only was He breaking the Sabbath, but He was calling God His own Father, placing Himself on equal footing with God.
For this reason the Yehudim were seeking all the more to kill Him — not only was He breaking the Shabbat, but He was calling Elohim His own Father, making Himself equal with Elohim.
Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
Because of this, the Jews tried all the harder to kill Him. Not only was He breaking the Sabbath, but He was even calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.
