The aorist ἐδοξάσθη (edoxásthē, "was glorified") is proleptic — treating a future reality with the certainty of a completed act, a rhetorical pattern common in both Hebrew prophetic speech and Johannine Greek. The final clause γένησθε ἐμοὶ μαθηταί holds a productive range: "become My disciples" (ongoing formation) and "prove yourselves to be My disciples" (demonstrated reality). The F.O.G. renders μαθηταί as talmidim, the Hebrew term for disciples formed in close imitation of their rabbi, which carries the full weight of the ancient master-student covenant Yeshua is invoking.
