A quietly extraordinary verse: YHWH sends rain on uninhabited wilderness not because humans benefit but simply because He wills it. Creation is not anthropocentric — the world exists for its own sake within the Creator's purposes, not merely as a stage for human activity. This verse dismantles any theology that places humanity at the centre of the cosmos and anticipates Yeshua's words that the Father sends rain on the just and unjust alike (Matthew 5:45). FOG renders the double Hebrew negation with 'without a single soul' for emphasis; FOG Message is plainer.
