Bildad's closing verdict is devastating in its brevity. *Avval* (עַוָּל) denotes one who is morally twisted, unjust at the core—stronger than merely 'wicked.' To 'not know El' (*lo yada El*, לֹא-יָדַע אֵל) is not an intellectual failure but a covenantal one: *yada* (יָדַע) in Hebrew describes the deepest relational knowing—intimate, experiential, moral alignment. The crushing dramatic irony is that Elohim Himself had declared Job 'blameless and upright' (Job 1:8): every word Bildad delivers lands on the wrong man. FOG uses 'El' to preserve the ancient Semitic divine name; FOG Message uses 'God' to bring the full covenantal weight into focus for the contemporary reader.
