Your Certificate is earned by finishing the Cover-to-Cover Bible Challenge — reading every chapter of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. When you reach the last page, your certificate is generated automatically. Members receive it digitally; patrons will have it mailed to their door.

What is the leaderboard and can I turn it off?

The leaderboard lets you compare XP progress with friends and fellow members — a little friendly accountability for those who want it. If you'd rather keep your journey personal, you can turn it off entirely in your profile settings. Either way, your ranks and XP are yours regardless.

The abrupt shift to third person (*hu* = "he") after Job's sustained direct address to God is grammatically jarring and has long puzzled commentators. It may function as a transitional wisdom-lament — Job stepping back from the dock to observe the human condition in general — before ch. 14 develops this meditation at length. Some scholars place v. 28 as the opening of ch. 14 rather than the close of ch. 13. The imagery of rot and moth-eaten cloth is a recurring wisdom-tradition lament for human transience (cf. Isa. 50:9; 51:8; Ps. 39:11). FOG's "dry rot" makes the organic, irreversible dissolution visceral; FOG Message's "something rotting" keeps the focus on the ongoing process of decay.
