It is Jean Paul's lifelong work, unfolding in public — and you're invited in.

He works from a personal encounter with Jesus first, then draws on the scholarship of respected Jewish and Christian scholars — because the church was Jewish before it was anything else, and those roots change everything about how you read Scripture.

Esh Elohim (אֵשׁ אֱלֹהִים, "fire of God") almost certainly refers to lightning — in ancient Near Eastern imagery, the archetypal divine weapon hurled from the sky-vault. The use of Elohim may indicate superlative intensity ("a god-like fire") or carry an ironic narrative freight: the destruction is attributed to God's fire even as God has granted the Accuser permission to act. F.O.G renders shamayim as "skies" to preserve the ancient cosmological register of the visible dome-vault.
