Look—all the women remaining in Judah's royal palace are being led out to the officials of the king of Babylon, and as they go, they sing this taunt: "Your trusted allies have deceived you and gotten the better of you; your feet are mired in the mud, and they have turned their backs and walked away."
See—all the women left in the house of the king of Yehudah are being led out to the princes of the king of Bavel, and they are saying: "Your trusted friends enticed you and overpowered you; now your feet are sunk in the mire, and they have turned their backs on you."
And, behold, all the women that are left in the king of Judah's house shall be brought forth to the king of Babylon's princes, and those women shall say, Thy friends have set thee on, and have prevailed against thee: thy feet are sunk in the mire, and they are turned away back.
All the women who remain in the palace of the king of Judah will be brought out to the officials of the king of Babylon, and those women will say: ‘They misled you and overcame you—those trusted friends of yours. Your feet sank into the mire, and they deserted you.’
