It is Jean Paul's lifelong work, unfolding in public — and you're invited in.

Jean Paul Joseph is the lead editor of the F.O.G Bible Project. He works from a personal encounter with Jesus first, then draws on the scholarship of respected Jewish and Christian scholars — because the church was Jewish before it was anything else, and those roots change everything about how you read Scripture.

פָּחֲדוּ (*paḥadu*) denotes trembling dread, not merely concern—these are court officials who have just heard a divine sentence on their nation and king. The infinitive absolute הַגֵּד נַגִּיד (*hagged naggid*, "tell, we must tell") is an emphatic Hebrew construction that heightens the weight of obligation: they cannot sit on this. Their impulse to report it—rather than suppress it—distinguishes them from the king, who suppresses through fire. FOG: "must indeed report"; FOG Message: "must certainly tell."
