The command Jonadab son of Rechab gave his sons—to drink no wine—has been faithfully kept to this very day, for they obey their ancestor's word without fail. But I have called out to you urgently, again and again, rising before dawn to speak—and you would not listen.
The command of Yonadav son of Rechav, that his sons drink no wine, has been kept—they drink none to this day, for they have obeyed their father's command. But I have spoken to you again and again—rising early to speak—and you have not listened to Me.
